BEST PRACTICES AND PRECAUTIONS TAKEN
We understand that a lot has changed over the past couple of months while being in the middle of a health crisis. COVID-19 and the pandemic has resulted in redefining how interaction and communication is being done in the real estate industry. With restrictions, guidelines, new policies and best practices at the forefront of our minds, we are here to help clients with their real estate plans and conduct business, although business is not business as usual.
By utilizing best practices and technology we help keep our clients and ourselves safe while taking care of their real estate needs. Real Estate has been deemed an essential service and we are following all precautions necessary while maintaining the high level of service you deserve.
WORKING WITH SELLERS
The health and safety of clients is a top priority. In order to continue to serve and help you navigate to sell your home in this market, we are utilizing the latest technology and communication to effectively and safely work with clients. We have expanded our tools, training and protocol to be able to work with clients while ensuring we follow the recommended social distancing and health guidelines.
Video Meetings and Online Listing Presentations
We are available to meet virtually via using online video technology. This means having “face-to-face” conversations and meetings through tools such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, etc.
Property Media + Open Houses
To ensure the safety and well being of clients and potential Buyers, we are following all recommended health and safety guidelines provided by the provincial health authority and Real Estate Board. To ensure that your home is being reached by potential buyers and getting the exposure you deserve, we have trusted marketing partners who create professional media using virtual technology to market and sell your home safely. At this time open houses have resumed and are conducted following best practices and guidelines as outlined by the Provincial Health Office and Work Safe B.C. As a home owner discussions around open houses how they are conducted, your comfort level and our plan to minimize any health and safety risks are all taking into consideration
Visual Technology
With the use of technology, we are able to present your home to attract the most qualified prospects by giving Buyers robust and accurate visual information of your property. We use 3D Matterport Tours, professional photography, videos, floor plans and a video “open house” style walk through of your property. Prospective Buyers can do viewings online from the comfort of their computer or smart phone and research your home online.

Showings and Screening Buyers
We encourage prospective buyers and their Realtors to view all media that is available for your property before requesting a showing. Serious Buyers may request a private showing with the consent of the home owner. During a showing, strict protocol, procedures and guidelines provided by the provincial health authority and Real Estate Board will be followed. A health check and waiver may be required to be filled out and signed by the Buyer(s) before entering the home.
Electronic Signing
All documents that require signatures will be shared and signed online through our electronic signing system. This includes all contracts, disclosures, offers and other required documents that are necessary to conduct business.
